Mr. Rohde is a senior consultant for The Greeley Company with more than 25 years of experience in quality management. His roles in performance improvement and project management make him uniquely qualified to assist medical staffs and hospital leaders develop solutions to their toughest challenges. He instructs, speaks, and consults in the areas of error reduction strategies, root cause analysis, improving performance through process simplification, error reduction through effective procedure writing, apparent cause analysis, engineering effectiveness and error reduction, failure modes and effects analysis, effective data collection, analysis and trending, patient safety evaluation and improvement, change management, corrective action program evaluation and redesign, human performance evaluations, and procedure error reduction. Mr. Rohde also specializes in technology-based approaches to preventing human errors.

Mike Personett
Senior Vice President of Product and Corporate Development for Peminic, Inc.
Mr. Personett has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. His career has focused on the application of technology to improve performance of quality, risk, and financial management. His accomplishments have improved identification methods of risk and investments in quality programs. His financial background includes operational analysis of business units, mergers and acquisitions, and risk analysis. Prior to joining Peminic, he worked as Director of Risk Information Systems for Tenet Healthcare and has extensive experience in managing large scale deployments of risk and quality solutions. Mike holds a bachelor’s of science in accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management, a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers and the Risk and Insurance Management Society.

Sharon Courage
RN, MPH, Vice President, Hospital Services
Ms. Courage serves as vice president of hospital services and a senior consultant with The Greeley Company. She brings over 20 years of healthcare experience to her work assisting clients with the development and implementation of a variety of healthcare programs including quality management, patient safety, care/case management, risk management, and medical and cost management processes. Ms. Courage is also conversant in The Joint Commission standards and assists organizations with the assessment of current compliance and the development of processes to meet standards.

Robert J. Marder
MD, CMSL, Vice President
Dr. Marder serves as vice president at The Greeley Company. He brings over 25 years of healthcare leadership and management experience to his work with physicians, hospitals and healthcare organizations across the country. Dr. Marder’s many roles in senior hospital medical administration and operations management in academic and community hospital settings make him uniquely qualified to assist physicians and hospitals develop solutions for complex medical staff and hospital performance issues. He has consulted, authored, and presented on a wide-range of healthcare leadership issues including effective and efficient peer review, physician performance measurement and improvement, hospital quality measurement systems and performance improvement, patient safety/error reduction, and utilization management.

Ms. Bielanski is a consultant with The Greeley Company, specializing in quality, accreditation and case management. She brings over 20 years experience in quality, Joint Commission, CMS, accreditation and regulatory compliance. Ms. Bielanski’s has a background in nursing administration, quality, risk and case management. She specializes in preparing organizations for accreditation and regulatory compliance. In addition, she assists clients in implementing efficient case management practices by impacting length of stay, minimizing cost, and ensuring optimum outcome using a professional model of collaborative practice to improve quality through coordination of care.

Steven W. Bryant
Senior Vice President and Managing Director
Mr. Bryant serves as vice president and managing director for The Greeley Company, a division of HCPro, Inc. He brings 20 years of experience in healthcare management and leadership to his work with hospitals and physicians nationwide. Mr. Bryant is a strong proponent of the principle that hospitals and physicians should never do anything just to meet an accreditation standard. Instead, he helps them do the right thing to provide great patient care and run a great hospital, letting regulatory compliance be a byproduct. He is a popular speaker and author, with particular expertise in continuous survey readiness; using the accreditation process to improve quality; finding maximum flexibility in Joint Commission, CMS, and other standards; and helping physicians understand and get value out of the accreditation process.

Jennifer Daley
MD, Chief Medical Officer, Partners Community Healthcare Inc.
Dr. Daley is the Chief Medical Officer of Partners Community Healthcare Inc., the physician contracting organization for the six thousand physicians employed and/or affiliated with Partners Healthcare System in Boston Massachusetts. Jennifer is a nationally recognized physician executive with expertise in patient safety, quality, service excellence, and clinical operational improvement. She is distinguished in the healthcare industry for substantial clinical work redesign leading to quantifiable and sustainable improvements in patient outcomes and reduced costs of care. She has led innovative quality improvement programs nationally in government (Department of Veterans Affairs), for-profit (Tenet Healthcare) and not-for-profit delivery systems (Partners Healthcare System, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center). Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude from Brown University and her medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed post-graduate training in internal medicine at the New England Medical Center in Boston and her general medicine fellowship at Harvard Medical School. In 2007 she was named one of the top 25 women executives in healthcare by Modern Healthcare and was an inaugural recipient of the US Naval Academy-Harvard Business Review Ethical Leadership Award.

Lisa Eddy
RN, CPHQ, CSHA, Senior Consultant
Mrs. Eddy is one of Greeley’s senior consultants and brings over 20 years experience in Joint Commission, CMS, HFAP and NCQA accreditation and certification. Mrs. Eddy’s background in nursing administration, quality and risk management allows her to apply real world healthcare knowledge to the challenges of meeting regulatory requirements. She specializes in preparing organizations for accreditation and implementing solution-based, continuous accreditation readiness programs. In addition to her role as senior advisor to many Greeley Center for Healthcare Accreditation clients, she is instrumental in facilitation of implementation strategies for performance improvement and quality management systems. Mrs. Eddy is also heavily involved in Greeley’s practice of helping organizations facing post survey adverse action and/or CMS decertification, successfully clarify requirements for improvement and develop CMS action plans.

Claude (Bud) Pate

Mr. Pate serves as Vice President for Content and Development at The Greeley Company. He is a nationally recognized expert in patient flow and in hospital and health system regulation and accreditation with over 25 years experience in high profile problem solving. Mr. Pate’s patient flow work brings him to institutions and podiums across the country to solve one of healthcare’s most daunting challenges: how to reliably and consistently bring patients into contact with emergency providers and how to quickly find an inpatient bed for admitted patients. In the regulatory world, Mr. Pate has an unmatched track record for consultation under fire, helping institutions avoid adverse accreditation and certification actions while simplifying the challenge of ongoing compliance.

Ms. Pejakovich is a senior consultant with The Greeley Company. She brings over 25 years of management experience to her work with healthcare organizations across the nation.
